Acceptance
By connecting an account to LAMO Assistant or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
What the service is
LAMO Assistant is a personal AI assistant operated by LAMO Ventures, LLC. It reads the email, calendar, and financial accounts you connect, briefs you, and proposes and carries out actions on your behalf. It is currently offered in early access to a small group of users, free of charge. We may change, pause, or discontinue the service, or start charging for it, on reasonable notice.
Your accounts and your instructions
You must own or be authorized to use every account you connect. You are responsible for the instructions you give the assistant and for the approvals you send it. When you approve a proposed action — a reply, a calendar change, a booking — the assistant carries it out as your agent, and the result is yours as if you had done it yourself. Review proposals before approving them.
AI-generated content and judgment
The assistant uses AI models to read, summarize, and draft. It is useful and usually right, and it is not infallible: it may misclassify a message, miss something, or draft something you would have worded differently. Its observations about invoices or transactions are pointers for you to check, not accounting or financial advice. Use your own judgment, especially for anything involving money, health, legal matters, or deadlines.
What it will not do
The assistant cannot move money, make payments, or change financial accounts. It does not take external actions involving money or bookings without your explicit approval each time. It does not act on security-related email. These limits are part of the service’s design and cannot be turned off.
Acceptable use
Use the service only for your own personal or business affairs and in compliance with applicable law and the terms of the accounts you connect. Don’t use it to send spam, harass anyone, or access accounts or data you are not entitled to.
Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by the privacy policy, which describes what data the assistant accesses and what it does with it.
Intellectual property
The service’s design, code, prompts, and branding are the property of LAMO Ventures, LLC. Your data remains yours; you grant us only the rights needed to operate the service for you.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAMO Ventures, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from actions you approved, from third-party services, or from the accuracy of AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, which during early access is zero.
Termination
You can stop using the service at any time by revoking its access to your accounts and telling us to delete your assistant. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if the service is discontinued.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and current users will be told of material changes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
